Grand Rapids, MI, August 21, 2024 – Applied Innovation, a complete office technology provider based in Grand Rapids, is excited to announce their highly anticipated sixth annual philanthropic extravaganza: Casino Royale. This exclusive event will benefit the Children’s Healing Center, a non-profit organization serving the local Michigan community. Building on the success of last year’s fundraiser, which raised $40,000, the company is setting its sights on surpassing that amount with this year’s event.
“Community and Family are two elements of our Applied Innovation culture that resonate deeply. These elements intersect at Casino Royale by allowing us to come together with clients and staff, while supporting a cause within our community that promotes good clean fun for entire families that are navigating complex medical diagnoses,” said Casey Lowery, President of Applied Innovation.
The Children’s Healing Center, a year-round recreational hub designed exclusively for children with weakened immune systems, offers a diverse array of research-driven play, socialization, and learning programs. The center welcomes all children from birth to 26 years who are immunocompromised along with their families. Their central objective is to provide a haven for families to experience the transformative power of play, foster connections, and cultivate a sense of belonging.
Melissa Block, Director of Growth & Development at CHC, expressed her gratitude by saying, “The support from Applied Innovation through their Casino Royale event is truly invaluable. Their commitment not only helps us continue providing essential services free-of-charge, but also brings the community together in a meaningful way. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing partnership to enrich the lives of the families we serve.”
The event is set to take place on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at 5:30 PM, as Casino Royale comes alive at the Applied Innovation headquarters, located at 5555 Glenwood Hills Parkway SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49512. The evening will encompass a variety of popular casino games such as blackjack, roulette, and poker, accompanied by signature cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including a one-night stay and dinner at Soaring Eagle Casino, Detroit Lions tickets and tailgate package, a relaxing spa day, wine and charcuterie experience, and so much more.
Every dollar raised will benefit the Children’s Healing Center, and we are grateful to the sponsors whose generosity is sure to make this a successful and memorable event. Event sponsors include Grand Rapids Auto Gallery, Central Michigan Paper, Varnum, Infusion by Etna Supply, Eikenhout, Lockton, Canon USA, Hylant, Highland Group, Intermedia, Applause Catering, Global Telecom Solutions, Horizon Bank, QuotaPath, and Distribution Management.
